This involves a consultation, survey, concept drawings and amendments, followed by more detailed drawings and documents to enable landscape contractors to quote for and accurately build the design. Caroline can recommend landscapers and monitor the build if required. This would be followed by planting design, then procuring, setting out and planting the plants. After this, a document would be produced explaining how you and/or your gardeners should look after the new garden. Ideally, we would stay in touch and Caroline would visit from time to time to advise on the management and development of the garden as it changes over the years.

Perhaps the structure of your garden is already in place and you only require help to revamp the planting. In this situation we would survey and advise on the existing plants and draw up a new design, incorporating the existing plants where possible. We would supply, set out and plant the new borders and then if required, teach you and/or your gardeners how to look after them, or provide you with a plant care document.

Sometimes people would like to be fully involved in the design process rather than passing it over to the designer. This is possible with a guided design. Caroline could steer you through the process and help put your ideas to paper, creating a workable design drawing. This would be payable on an hourly basis. The process would begin with a consultation and survey, which Caroline would draw up. We would then discuss the layout together and come to a final design, which would be drawn up to scale on CAD. Caroline would advise on materials, features, planting etc and could help you to source good landscapers to implement your design.

If you have a horticultural/design problem in your garden, or need some expert advice, for example, on suitable trees or where best to place a new feature, Caroline could visit to discuss your issue, followed by a written report if required. This would also be payable on an hourly basis.
